Gabija Bubnytė is interested in the entanglements between research and visual arts.
CURRENTLY:
starting a PhD at ISP laboratory on Deconstructing the ‘post-Soviet’ category abroad through cultural diplomacy practices of the Lithuanian diaspora and cultural professionals in France.
PREVIOUSLY:
graduate of the PDI Master (Pratique de l’interdisciplinarité en sciences sociales) at ENS-EHESS.
graduate of the Rotterdam Arts & Sciences Lab (RASL) dual degree (combining International Relations and Politics at EUC and Graphic Design at WdKA).

Instagram Making public: a collection of publications
La Souterraine is a publication developed from a research workshop bridging documentary photography and ethnography at École normale supérieure. Following the workshop, I was invited by the supervising team of researchers and photographers to design the final publication, documenting that year's body of student work and highlighting the possibilities of bridging photography with ethnography.
PEAK was developed during a seminar at ENSAD, collecting student’s writings on translation.
